It is not a matter of feeling, Leanne's voice and skill is unbelievably better than trisha. Download both versions and really listen to the voice, not the video or how you feel about leannes age or con air. My God you must be deaf, trish is flat and boring, unskilled. Leanne is like holy shit, her voice and timing, my god, perfect rendition. Each verse she just hits it and beyond before somehow perfectly keeping control of her huge voice and into the next verse. Trish is nothing in comparsion.

When I first heard Trisha Yearwood's version vs. LeAnn Rimes' version, I realized the difference was age. To me it was obvious that Trisha Yearwood had lived long enough to feel the words she was singing and LeAnn was just a pup. Trisha was telling a story, LeAnn was singing a song. Perhaps if LeAnn were to sing this song now, with her life experiences behind her, she would compare favorably. But this is a far better version than LeAnn's.
